Correspondence, applications, reports, and related papers of the Minneapolis chapter of a national volunteer organization to assist in finding employment for loyal Japanese-Americans (Nisei) evacuated from the Pacific Coast during World War II. The collection consists largely of chapter secretary Genevieve F. Steefel's correspondence with Nisei seeking work--as well as their employment applications--and with officials of the U.S. Employment Service and War Relocation Authority.
